The Confirmation of the Promise and Covenant
made with David
David wrote of the promise that YHWH made to him in
his psalms. “I have made a covenant with my chosen,
I have sworn unto David, my servant:
Your seed will I establish forever, and build up your
throne to all generations.” (Psalms 89:3-4)
YHWH told the prophet Jeremiah, “Behold,
the days come, says YHWH, that I will perform that good
thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel
and to the house of Judah. In those days, and at that
time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow
up unto David; and He shall execute judgment and righteousness
in the land.
For thus says YHWH, David shall never want a man to
sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; ....Thus
says YHWH, If you can break my covenant of the day,
and my covenant of the night, and that there should
not be day and night in their season, Then may also
my covenant be broken with David, my servant, that he
should not have a SON to reign upon his throne;...”
(Jer. 33:14-21) |

“Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing
that Elohim had sworn with an oath to him, that
of the fruit of his loins, ACCORDING
TO THE FLESH, He would raise up the Messiah
to sit on his throne.” (Acts 2:30) |

John said, “In the beginning was the Word, and
the Word was with YHWH, and the Word was Elohim. The
same was in the beginning with YHWH. All things were
made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that
was made.”

Well we still have
day and night don’t we? And David indeed has a Son who
was “born the King of the Jews” (Matt2:2) and
He will sit on David's
throne in Jerusalem Israel! Before that point what did John
the Baptist say of Him? “Behold the Lamb of YAH who
takes away the sins of the world” (John 1:29) He didn’t
say the Son of YHWH.
This was the Lamb, the human sacrifice that YHWH provided
for Himself to take away the animal sacrifices. The One who
would bring the tribes of
Israel back to Him. Remember YHWH said, sacrifices and offering
I would not, but a body have I prepared. (Heb. 10) But it
was that Spirit who created man after His own image that would
have to come unto His own, the ones whom he surnamed after
Himself. And He came to dwell in the sinless, perfect body
of the man Yahshua for 3 1/2 years.
Let's prove this. “In the beginning Elohim created the
heaven and the earth.” Then it goes on to say, “And
the earth was without form, and void...And the Spirit of Elohim
moved upon the face of the waters (here in the KJV of the
Bible it references that this is a Deity!) Then it goes on
to describe Elohim forming the earth, the sun, the moon and
all the hosts of heaven. The animals, the sea creatures, the
creeping things, the herbs and grass. Then Elohim said, “Let
US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness... So Elohim
created man in HIS own image, in the image of Elohim created
He him, male and female created He them”(Gen 1:1-27)
Who is the “US” that was present from the beginning?
The Mystery of Israel
This is the one whom John spoke of when he said, “In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with YHWH...”
He is the One, the Son of
YHWH, the only begotten of YHWH who has been with Him since
the beginning. The One who created man in His image. “He
was in the world,
and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not!”
He came unto His own (the children of Israel), and His own
received Him not!” “And the Word was made
flesh (when He descended upon the man Yahshua), and dwelt
among us (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of YHWH), full of grace and truth.
This is who spoke and said “Let US make man in OUR image….”
“No man has seen YHWH at any time; the only begotten
Son who is in the bosom of
YHWH has declared Him!” (John 1:11-18)
John even said, “...This is He of whom I spoke, He that
comes after me is preferred before me; for He was before me.”
(John 1:15) Was Yahshua before John? Luke chapter one shows
us that John was born six months before his cousin Yahshua
so he couldn’t have been talking about The Messiah when
he said “for He was before me.”
Having the spirit to understand this takes much prayer. But
having this understanding helps to understand the two-fold
conversations that
Yahshua had with his disciples. Like when He told the Jews,
“before Abraham was - I AM.” (John 8:58) Was Yahshua
before Abraham? I think not - He wasn’t born until the
year 4 B.C.
