This frieze is from the Arch of Titus, named for
the Roman general who quelled the revolt of the
Jews of AD 66-73. It shows a sacred menorah, a
table of gold and the silver trumpets taken as
booty from the temple of YHWH. Titus savagely
razed the city, ending the temple's influence
as the center of worship for the Jews. |

Shortly before his death
in 33 AD, Yahshua called Jerusalem "the killer
of the prophets and stoner of those sent forth to her."
He foretold what would happen to our people, the true
Jews - his people:
The days will come upon you when your enemies will build
around you a fortification with pointed stakes and keep
you in on every side and shall lay you even with the
ground, and your children within you; and they shall
not leave in you one stone upon another" (Luke
19:43-44).
He also Said: "And when you shall see Jerusalem
compassed with armies, then know that the desolation
thereof is near...But woe unto them that are with child,
and to them that give suck in those days, for there
shall be great distress in the land and wrath upon this
people. |

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth
kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from
all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth,
and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be
led away captive into all nations; and Jerusalem shall be
trodden down of the Gentiles (Europeans), until the times
of the Gentiles be fulfilled" (Luke 21:20-24).
It was the mighty Legions of the Roman army that YHWH used
to finally destroy the mighty and the holy people, our forefathers.
They were His
whipping stick to beat our people into submission and to consume
with fire YHWH’s beautiful city Jerusalem, the land
that flowed with milk and
honey! Earlier, the prophet Daniel had prophesied that it
would be a prince of the 4th world empire (Rome), who would
destroy the city and the
sanctuary (Dan. 9:26), and it happened exactly that way.
Titus, the Roman general who destroyed Jerusalem, was also
a prince of Rome because he was the son of Vespasian, Emperor
of Rome! |

During
the first war with Rome, the lows produced silver shekels
inscribed "Jerusalem the Holy," above right,
and coins inscribed 'For the redemption of Zion,"
above' left. The emperors Vespasian, Titus, ,and Domitian
each issued judea Capta coins, bottom, commemorating
the defeat of the rebellion in AD 70.
The Jews could not stomach the rule of the Romans
over them and finally in 66 AD, the Jewish revolt was
begun by a group | named the Zealots." After a
five-month siege, Jerusalem was thoroughly destroyed
and ""the temple was reduced to ruins. In
his book "Antiquities of the Jews," Josephus,
a Jewish historian documented] that over 1.3 million

were killed: and the rest were sold to the Africans to work
in the mines. There had never been a slaughter of a people
so great as had been at the taking of Jerusalem in 70 AD).
Josephus stated: “Accordingly
the multitude of those that therein perished exceeded all
the destruction that either men or God ever brought upon the
world. Thus was Jerusalem taken, in the second year of the
reign of Vespasian; a city of great
magnificance and of mighty fame among all mankind.”

The Potsherd inscribed above with Hebrew
names are believed to be the LOTS used at Masada in AD 73
by Jewish rebel leaders to determine who would kill the others
when the Romans overcame them.
The remnant rebel forces of our people held out at
Massada, a stronghold built by Herod the Great until AD73
when they took their own lives rather than fall into Roman
hands. The Blood of our ancestors poured out in the streets
like running water. The jewish spirit was crushed and the
remaining remnant went into captivity . Thus began the great
Diaspora of our people, and since that time we have no more
been considered as a nation of people - the House of Judah
- YAH’s pleasant plant (Isa.5:6-8). The Curse Fulfilled!!
