It is one of
the leading doctrines of Romanism that the Pope is the
visible head of the universal church of Christ, invested
with supreme authority over bishops and pastors in all
parts of the world. Not only is he considered the earthly
leader of the church, Catholics have gone a step farther,
giving him some of the very titles reserved for Deity.
He has been styled "Lord God the Pope," and
has been declared infallible. He demands the homage
of all men, including all of the kings of the earth,
and vast numbers pay homage to him worldwide.
The Current
Pope Of Rome Pope Benedict XV1 makes his appearance.
"We
hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty." Pope
Leo XIII, in an Encyclical Letter June 20, 1894.
YHWH has never given authority to any man to be the head of
the church. Christ is the head of the church. All of the apostles,
as well as the early disciples of Christ were Hebrew Israelites,
who continued to practice the culture of their fathers which
was written in the Scriptures (the Law and the Prophets).
The doctrine of Papal supremacy is directly opposed to the
teachings of the Scriptures. The Pope can have no power over
Christ's church except by usurpation. And that is exactly
what the Pope and the Roman church did!
The apostle Paul, in his second letter to the Thessalonians,
foretold the great apostasy which would result in the establishment
of the papal power. He declared that the day of Christ's return
should not come, "except there come a falling away first,
and that the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called
God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the
temple of God, showing himself that he is God."
"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth;
and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."

Yashua, the Anointed One, in Matthew 24:15, called the "man
of sin," the "abomination of desolation." He
is also know as the "little horn" in the book of
Daniel 7:8, 24-25, the "beast with two horns" in
Rev. 13:11, and the "false prophet" in Rev. 19:20.
Truly, by altering God's commandments, the Pope has tried
to exalt himself above all that is called God, as the Scripture
said: "And he shall speak great words against the most
High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and
think to change times and laws"
(Daniel 7:25).The refusal to keep the holy Sabbath day and
the institution of Sunday worship is indicative of the type
of power that the historic Roman Catholic church has wielded
in the past. It has always been the plan of Satan to counterfeit
and alter God's commandments.
"The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ,
but he is Jesus Christ, hidden under a veil of flesh."

The Scripture says: "Here is wisdom, Let him that has
wisdom count the number of the beast; for it is the number
of a man and his number is Six hundred three score and six
[666]" Rev. 13:18. Vicarius Filii Dei is Latin for "VICAR
OF THE SON OF GOD," and from a Catholic publication,
we read the following:
"The title of the Pope of
Rome is Vicarius Filii Dei and if you take the letters of
his title which represent Latin numerals and add them together
they come to 666." (Our Sunday Visitor, Nov. 15, 1914).
The word "POPE" means father, or papa, in Latin.
Translated into English is means "Father." This
is the title of YHWH himself. The Father of all creation commanded
that we should have NO OTHER GODS BEFORE HIM (Exo. 20:3).
Watch for the office of the Pope. When world religion is unified,
it is this man of sin, who will make every man, woman and
child take the mark of the best and worship the dragon!
