Millions know
we are living in awesome, frightening times! There are
many books concerning Bible prophecy portraying various
scenarios for the "end of the world." It is
impossible, however, to understand the "end time"
scenario without understanding prophecy, especially
the books of Daniel and Revelation.
The prophecies in these two books were written in symbols
and metaphors. What is often misunderstood is that the
Bible interprets its own symbols; the meaning is not
of anyone's private interpretation (2 Peter 1:21).
The following charts depict Daniel and John's prophecies
of the last four world empires to reign upon the earth.
The Vision
of Daniel

In the 600
years between the two prophecies of the book of Daniel
and Revelation, the four beast empires that Daniel had
seen has all come and gone. The fourth, Rome, was still
in power during John's prophecy in 96 A.D. 2,000 years
have past since John's prophecy, and we are now living
in the time of the last effort to revive the fourth
best, the Holy Roman Empire. Today, it's being called
the NEW WORLD ORDER.
This will be the final 3 1⁄2 years of the rule
of the Gentiles (European nations, Gen. 10:2-5). The
"Times of the Gentiles," began in 539 BC as
Cyrus was the first European to rule the earth. According
to the scriptures, European rulership would last a total
time of 2,520 years (Dn. 4:25, Lk. 21:24, Rev. 11:1-2).
The sum of 539 and 1997 is 2,536 years. This doesn't
tell us an exact date, because calendar systems have
changed. What it does tell us is Christ's Return To
Take Over The Leadership Of The Earth Is Imminent! The
