The
Christmas Tree
The Christmas tree is not a modern invention nor does
it have anything to do with the birth of Yashua, the
Christ. Its history dates back to antiquity a few thousand
years before the birth of Yashua. In fact, people decorated
and worshipped such trees even in the prophet Jeremiah's
day! YHWH inspired Jeremiah to write about this abominable
practice of the heathen nations
The Nativity Scene
You're familiar with the "Nativity scene Representations
of a stable showing a haloed baby in a manger Mary and
Joseph nearby being joined by shepherds, "three
wise men," and varying numbers of winged angels.

Such scenes. widely
displayed at Christmas time dlffer extensively from the biblical
account of how it really was.
The shepherds who were from places near to bethlehem. as soon
as they were told about Yashua's birth by the Angels. Immediately
sought out the stable as they were instructed to do. They
quickly found it! (Luke 2. 16).
The "wise men" on the othcr hand came from considerable
distances, Traveling from other from cities of East (the Middle
East, not the Orient)
they searched lor the one who was born "King of the Jews"
First they came to Jerusalem. and after being told where the
heir to the throne of King David , .. would be born. they
journeyed to Bethlehem (Matt 2:2)
The Bible did not say how many "Wise men" there
was. nor does it mention their nationality (Matt 2.1) Yet
in almost every nativity scene. there are only" "three
wise men" who are depicted as representing the three
main racial divisions of mankind (White. black and orienlal)
This is purely fabrication!
In addition. when the wise men reached bethlehem, they found
Yoshua, no longer in a manger in a stable, Joseph. Mary and
the baby Yashua were living in a house when the found them
(Luke 2. 11) At the time of the arrival of the wise men, Yoshua
may have been anywhere from two months to two years old! This
is why King Herod demanded when the wise men had seen the
disappearance of the star announcing his birth (Matt 2. 3-7)
King Herod promptly ordered the slaughter of all the male
cluldrcn in Bethlehem from lhe agcof two years old and under
(Matt. 2:16) He did not order the slaying of all newborn babies,
or all babies a few weeks old He extended the limit, up to
two years to prevent any possible escape.
When the wise men finally located the house where The young
child was (Matt 2 11) they presented the gifts they had brought
which were fit for a king - gold, frankincense and myrrh These
were not birthday gifts, the day of Christ's birth having
long since passed. They gave Yashua gifts because he was born
to be the King of the Jews, and it was and still is, customary
to bring Costly gifts when entering the presence of royally.
The giving of gifts by the wise men is often used to justify
the practice of exchanging gifts What is overlooked is that
the men did not exchange gifts among themselves as is the
modern custom, Rather they presented all their gifts to the
Messiah. Today the Messiah is overlooked completely during
lhis time though they proclaim that "Jesus is the reason
for the season.
