The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible is regarded by millions as, the written Word of the one and only: true God. It is the handbook for humankind. It is a source to be consulted in every life, “situation, with guidelines for triumph and adversity, joy and sorrow, prosperity and poverty, confidence and doubt. The Bible itself asserts its divine authority as it is the Holy Word of the Most High God (YHWH Elohim). It declares an understanding of mankind's purpose to attain to the awesome destiny planned for us by our Creator. The book contains eternal truths we could not discover on our own.The Word of YHWH (The LORD) was, given to one specific nation of people, the Hebrew Israelites.

"Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read:
no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them." Isaiah 34:16

In fact, it is their "history book and an intriguing love story between God and His people, His chosen race (the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob).

In it, we find that YHWH made everlasting promises to the patriarchs and to the 12 Tribes of Israel when he brought them out of the mightiest country (Egypt) on earth as slaves. On the Mount of Sinai, YHWH revealed to them His Law Covenant (The Ten Commandments) and for the first time, the way our Creator wanted us to walk before him was written on two tables of stone with the very finger of God for a memorial to all generations (Ex.31:18; 34:1-4). t It revealed that YHWH was the absolute judge of f human behavior and morality.

"And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. (Exodus.19:3-6)"

It revealed the way mankind should walk as taught by the Being who created man. YHWH instructed Moses to tell His people just how special they would be to him if they kept his Law. The children of Israel became YHWH's wife, and He, their husband. The special covenants and promises He made to them were conditional they had to obey their Husband and love only Him : for all eternity. They were to become a light to, all nations to show mankind how to be holy, because YHWH our Elohim is holy (Lev. 19:2).

"Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the I (nations, which shall hear all these statues and say) Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
For what nation is there so great, who has Elohim so near unto them, as YHWH our Elohim is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that has statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?" (Deut. 4:6-8).

The nations were to hear of their great relationship with YHWH, and seek them out to be taught of His wonderful and wise Laws" It is true that other nations felt that the Law covenant given to the Israelites was indeed worthy to be uplifted and obeyed to some extent, as the Holy Bible is still seen today as THE moral standard for humanity, and is the basis for the world's three major religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam). But unfortunately, the Israelites wanted to be more like the nations who knew not YHWH.
